Adequate Yearly Progress…and more.

Dear HTS Community:

Earlier today, I received an email from the N.J. Dept. of Ed. stating that both of our schools achieved Adequate Yearly Progress on our most recent state standardized tests.  40 out of 40 indicators were met!  Although it appears No Child Left Behind as we know it is being consigned to the ash heap of education reforms and, although our standards in Harding exceed state and federal minimum standards, this is an accomplishment to be proud of.  I would like to take a moment to congratulate all our students and thank all our parents and staff members who worked hard last year to achieve this goal.  Keep up the good work and we will see you in less than two weeks.

P.S. – If you have an incoming student new to the building, please join us on the blacktop for the annual PTO Ice Cream Social on Monday at 1:00.

Sincerely,

Alex Anemone
