Dear Harding Township Community:
Although retail stores have been blasting us with Holiday Sales for the past few months, Holiday Season, for me, arrives with the cold weather. Here at Harding Township School, we are busy unwrapping our own presents. Courtesy of the Harding Township Education Foundation, we will be unveiling the newest and most generous addition to our school curriculum – the HTS TV Studio! The HTEF Grant will include laptop computers, HD video cameras, state of the art video editing software, green screen technology and much more. The first episode of our student newscast should be posted on our website in late January/early February. In addition, this past year our world-famous Parent Teacher Organization has provided our students with a class set of tables for our Elementary School Art Room, a new mobile cart of laptop computers, new recess equipment and, as always, sponsored our annual Battle of the Books. We appreciate all their support.
In January, we will offer our final Open House Tours to parents and children currently residing in Harding Township and enrolled in a non-public school. If you are interested in coming in for a guided tour of our campus, observing classes and meeting with building and district administrators, please join us at HTS on Friday, January 6th from 8:30-10:00a.m. Also, if you are interested in enrolling your child in the HTS Husky Pups Pre-K 3 or Pre-K 4 programs for the 2012-13 school year, please check our website for registration materials the first week in January. Registration packets will also be available in the Office of Special Services at HTS after we return from Winter Break. Parents interested in learning more about either of the Pre K classes can contact our teacher Jackie Lorenzo (firstname.lastname@example.org) to arrange for a tour of the classroom and ask pertinent curriculum questions.
On behalf of the HTS staff, I hope you all enjoy a safe and restful Holiday Season.
